Finally figured out why my snake plant was rotting—I was watering it like my other houseplants instead of actually leaving it alone. Switched to watering every 3-4 weeks in winter, barely touching it otherwise, and it's thriving now. I have to remind myself that neglect is the whole point with these. If you've got one struggling, honestly just stop fussing with it.
