Finally got my peace lily to bloom consistently after two years of it just sitting there looking green

Finally got my peace lily to bloom consistently after two years of it just sitting there looking green. Turns out mine was too far from the window—moved it to bright indirect light and now it flowers every few weeks. I wish I'd just tried that sooner instead of fussing with fertilizer. Anyone else have one that refused to bloom for ages?
