I finally figured out why my pothos stopped trailing after two years—it was the low humidity in my desert home. I moved it closer to my kitchen and the growth picked up noticeably within weeks. The thing everyone gets wrong is thinking pothos is bulletproof; it tolerates neglect, sure, but it doesn't actually thrive in my arid climate without a little attention.
