I finally figured out why my Sansevieria trifasciata never thrived until I stopped fussing with it. Turns out I was watering on a schedule instead of waiting for the soil to fully dry out—took me two years to accept that "neglect" is actually the right approach here. Now it's my most reliable plant, barely asking for anything in my dry climate. Has anyone else had a plant that forced you to unlearn bad habits?
