I finally figured out why my snake plant (Sansevieria trifasciata) was getting soft spots at the base—I was watering it way too often! Turns out it actually thrives on neglect, which is perfect because I keep forgetting about it anyway. Now I only water when the soil is completely dry, and it's been putting out new leaves like crazy. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering succulents, or is it just me?
