I finally figured out why my snake plant was getting mushy at the base—I was watering it way too often

I finally figured out why my snake plant was getting mushy at the base—I was watering it way too often! Turns out Sansevieria trifasciata really does prefer to dry out completely between waterings, even more than I thought. I switched to watering maybe once a month and it's already looking perkier. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering theirs, or am I just the only one who gets impatient with the whole "let it dry out" thing?
