I finally figured out why my snake plant was looking so sad—I was watering it way too much

I finally figured out why my snake plant was looking so sad—I was watering it way too much! Turns out these guys really prefer to dry out between waterings. Mine's been doing so much better since I switched to watering it like once a month, maybe less in winter. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering theirs, or am I just the only one who thought "low maintenance" meant I could just water it whenever?
