I finally figured out why my snake plant was rotting—I was watering it monthly like clockwork instead of actually checking the soil. Now I only water when the pot feels genuinely light, which turns out to be every 6-8 weeks in winter. That one switch saved it. Has anyone else been doing the calendar watering thing? I'd love to know if I'm the only one who had to learn this the hard way.
