I finally figured out why my snake plant wasn't growing—I was watering it way too much

I finally figured out why my snake plant wasn't growing—I was watering it way too much! Turns out it actually prefers to dry out between waterings. Now I just stick my finger in the soil once a month and only water if it's completely dry. It's already putting out a new leaf, which I'm honestly pretty excited about since I've had it for like a year with no progress. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering theirs?
