I finally figured out why my snake plant wasn't thriving—I was watering it way too much. Moved it to a brighter spot and cut back to watering once a month, and it's taken off. The new leaves coming in are so much taller than before. If you've got one that seems stuck, honestly just leave it alone and let the soil dry out completely between waterings. They really do prefer neglect.
