I finally figured out why my Zamioculcas zamiifolia was growing so slowly—I'd been watering it far too often. Switched to a schedule where I only water when the soil dries out completely, and the new leaflets have been emerging noticeably faster. It's such a forgiving plant, but it really does prefer neglect over fussing. Has anyone else had better luck backing off with their ZZ, or am I just finally getting the rhythm right after three years?
