I finally figured out why my ZZ plant looked so sad the first year. I was watering it way too often, thinking I was helping. Turns out it actually prefers to dry out between waterings—I only water mine every couple of weeks now and it's thriving. The glossy new leaflets are coming in beautifully. If you have one that's looking droopy, I'd say check the soil first before assuming it needs more attention.
