I finally figured out why my ZZ plant was dropping leaflets — I was watering it way too often. Turns out it genuinely prefers to dry out between waterings, even more than I thought. Now I water maybe once every three weeks and it's thriving. If you have one that seems unhappy, honestly just back off the water and see what happens. It's such a forgiving plant once you stop fussing with it.
