I finally figured out why my ZZ plant was getting yellow leaves—I was watering it way too much. Sounds obvious now, but I kept thinking it needed more because it looked a bit droopy. Turns out it was root rot. I repotted it into drier soil and now it's actually thriving. It's one of my 6 plants and honestly the easiest one to keep once you stop fussing with it. Anyone else guilty of killing plants with kindness?
