I finally figured out why my ZZ plant was looking droopy — I was watering it way too often. Turns out these things really do prefer to dry out between waterings, even more than I expected. Now I'm only checking the soil every couple weeks, and it's looking so much happier with glossy leaflets again. If you have one that seems sluggish, try backing off the water. It made all the difference for mine.
