I finally figured out why my ZZ was stalling—I was watering it like everything else in my collection. Turns out the rhizomes rot fast if you're not patient between waterings. I switched to letting the soil dry completely, and new leaflets started unfurling within weeks. It's honestly the most forgiving plant I own once you stop fussing with it. Anyone else find success with the "neglect method" on theirs?
