I finally got my Monstera deliciosa to produce a fenestrated leaf after almost a year

I finally got my Monstera deliciosa to produce a fenestrated leaf after almost a year! I was starting to worry I wasn't giving it enough light, but it turns out it just needed time and patience. Now I'm obsessed with watching for the next one. Has anyone else noticed their Monstera grows way faster once it gets that first split leaf, or am I imagining things?
