I finally got my Monstera to produce a fenestrated leaf after two years, and I'm honestly more excited than I should be. The thing is, I think people overstate how much light they need—mine's doing brilliantly in a bright corner that doesn't get direct sun. Has anyone else found theirs thrives a bit away from the window? I'm curious if I just got lucky or if they're more flexible than the care guides suggest.
