I finally got my Monstera to put out a fenestrated leaf and I'm honestly shocked

I finally got my Monstera to put out a fenestrated leaf and I'm honestly shocked. Been growing it for about a year and kept wondering if I was doing something wrong since the earlier leaves were just solid. Turns out it just needed to mature and get enough light—I moved mine closer to the window and that seemed to make the difference. Has anyone else struggled with this, or did yours fenestrate pretty quickly?
