I'm finally getting somewhere with my Monstera

I'm finally getting somewhere with my Monstera. It took me ages to realize the brown leaf tips weren't just humidity issues—I was watering it way too much. Now that I've pulled back and let the soil dry out properly between waterings, the new leaves coming in look so much healthier. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering these? I'd love to know if I'm on the right track now, especially since I live in a pretty dry Mediterranean climate where it's easy to think plants are always thirsty.
