I've had my Epipremnum aureum trailing across a shelf for about three years now, and I only recently realized I've been overwatering it. The aerial roots were healthy, but the soil moisture meter showed I was keeping it too wet for my arid climate. Backed off to every ten days or so, and the growth rate actually picked up. It's a forgiving plant, which I think sometimes makes us complacent—worth checking your routine even if things look fine.
