I've had my Ficus lyrata for about eight months now, and I'm still figuring out the watering schedule. It seems happy enough—new leaves are unfurling—but I keep second-guessing myself because the soil dries out so unevenly in my pot. Does anyone else struggle with knowing when it actually needs water? I've read that overwatering is the main culprit, so I'm trying to be patient, but I'd love to hear what's worked for others.
