I've had my Ficus lyrata for about eight months now, and I'm still figuring out what it actually wants

I've had my Ficus lyrata for about eight months now, and I'm still figuring out what it actually wants. Everyone says "bright indirect light," but I'm in a cold climate with pretty weak winter sun, so I'm wondering if I should move it closer to the window or accept slower growth. It's not struggling, just... patient. Has anyone else grown one in a genuinely chilly house? I'm curious whether the cold slows it down as much as low light does.
