I've had my Ficus lyrata for three years now and finally figured out why it kept dropping leaves—I was rotating it too often. Turns out consistency matters more than I thought, even in my dry climate. Now I keep it in one bright spot and water only when the soil is genuinely dry. The new growth is the healthiest I've seen. Has anyone else found that these figs are pickier about movement than about anything else?
