I've had my fiddle leaf fig for about eight months now and it's finally starting to put out new growth, which feels like a real win. I think I was overwatering it at first—I kept fussing because everyone says they're so dramatic, but mine actually preferred to dry out a bit between waterings. Now I'm wondering if I should bother staking it as it gets taller, or if that's overkill? It's standing pretty sturdy so far.
