I've had my fiddle leaf fig for about eight months now and I think I'm finally getting somewhere with it

I've had my fiddle leaf fig for about eight months now and I think I'm finally getting somewhere with it. For the longest time I couldn't figure out why the lower leaves kept dropping, but I realised I was moving it around too much chasing the perfect light. Since I left it in one bright spot near my east-facing window, it's actually started putting out new growth. Has anyone else found that these are just drama queens about consistency rather than needing anything fancy?
