I've had my fiddle leaf fig for about eight months now and I'm still figuring out what it actually wants. It's dropped two leaves since spring, which I read means it's unhappy, but it's also put out a new leaf so I'm not sure if that's progress or just stubbornness. The light situation in my place is tricky with the Mediterranean sun being so intense—I keep moving it around like it's a puzzle. Has anyone else found a happy medium with these things, or are they just naturally dramatic?
