I've had my fiddle leaf fig for three years now, and I finally stopped moving it around like I'm rearranging furniture. Turns out it really does prefer to stay put—who knew stubbornness could be a feature, not a bug? I've noticed it puts out new leaves much faster since I settled it by a bright west-facing window and left it alone. My best tip: resist the urge to rotate it constantly. I still catch myself wanting to, but my fig's happier when I just let it be.
