I've had my fiddle leaf fig for two years now and it finally stopped dropping leaves once I stopped moving it around. Turns out they really hate being relocated, even across the room. I keep it in bright indirect light by the window and water when the soil is dry an inch down. It's my biggest plant at this point, and I'd share a photo if I could, but the growth has been steady once I got out of my own way.
