I've had my Monstera deliciosa for about two years now, and I'm finally seeing the characteristic fenestration on the newer leaves. It's fascinating how long it actually takes for the splits to develop—mine didn't start until the plant was quite mature and the light conditions stabilized. I keep it in bright, filtered light near an east-facing window. Has anyone else noticed their Monstera takes years before it develops those dramatic holes, or did yours fenestrate faster?
