I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally getting those signature fenestrations on the newer leaves. It took patience—I was worried something was wrong at first, but I realized she just needed stronger indirect light and maturity. The plant is now producing splits on almost every new leaf, and it's genuinely rewarding to see. If you have a young one without holes yet, don't panic. These things develop their characteristic leaf anatomy when conditions align and the plant gets established.
