I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing consistent fenestration on the new leaves. For the longest time I thought I was doing something wrong, but it turns out she just needed patience and bright indirect light. The growth has been steady since I moved her closer to the east-facing window. Has anyone else noticed their Monstera took a while to start producing those characteristic holes, or did yours fenestrate right away?
