I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing fenestration on the newer leaves—the wait was worth it

I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing fenestration on the newer leaves—the wait was worth it! I keep her in bright, indirect light near an east-facing window, and I've noticed she really took off once I switched to watering only when the top inch of soil dried out. I'm curious though: does anyone else's Monstera seem to prefer one direction, or am I just overthinking the growth pattern?
