I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally seeing consistent fenestration on new leaves. I used to think the holes were a sign of stress, but honestly, I think mine just needed patience and stable conditions in my dry climate. The key for me was keeping humidity moderate rather than cranking it up—counterintuitive, but it seems to prefer my arid setup when I give it bright indirect light and let the soil dry between waterings.
