I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm finally getting those characteristic fenestrations on the newer leaves. I think the turning point was moving it closer to the east-facing window—it seems the plant really does need that bright, indirect light to develop the splits properly. I'm curious whether anyone else has noticed a difference in fenestration patterns based on light conditions, or if it's purely a maturity thing for them?
