I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm still puzzled by the fenestration pattern. I read that it's a climbing adaptation in tropical understory, but mine splits inconsistently—some new leaves perforate heavily while others stay mostly solid. I suspect it's linked to humidity and light consistency in my dry climate, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has noticed irregular fenestration in their plants. It doesn't affect growth, just keeps me curious.
