I've had my Monstera deliciosa for three years now, and I'm still wrestling with watering consistency in my dry climate. The fenestration has been gorgeous lately, but I've noticed the lower leaves dropping whenever I let the soil dry out completely—even though I thought that was the move in an arid environment. Turns out they still want some moisture during the growing season, just not waterlogged. Anyone else finding they need to adjust their usual "drought plant" approach with this species?
