I've had my Monstera deliciosa for two years now and it's finally starting to fenestrate consistently on new leaves. I was worried the first year since I read so much about needing "perfect" conditions, but mine seems quite happy in bright indirect light near an east-facing window in my tropical climate. The growth has been steady without fussing too much. Has anyone else found that their Monstera took a while before the characteristic splits appeared, or did yours start fenestrating right away?
