I've had my Monstera for about eight months now and I'm finally seeing those gorgeous fenestrated leaves everyone raves about. At first I thought something was wrong and kept fussing with watering and light, but honestly she just needed patience. I'm in a Mediterranean climate so the humidity can be pretty dry, but she seems happy enough on a bright shelf near an east-facing window. Has anyone else noticed theirs takes forever to develop the splits, or did mine just need more time to settle in?
