I've had my Monstera for about two years now, and I finally got her to produce those signature split leaves. Turns out I was watering way too much at first—I think that actually delayed the whole process. Now I let the soil dry out between waterings and she's putting out new growth constantly. If you're waiting for those dramatic fenestrations, patience really does pay off.
