I've had my peace lily for about eight months now, and I'm finally getting the hang of it

I've had my peace lily for about eight months now, and I'm finally getting the hang of it. At first I thought it was dramatic with all the drooping, but I've learned it's actually pretty forgiving once you realize it's just thirsty. The thing that surprised me most is how well it's doing in my kitchen corner with indirect light—I expected it to need more. Has anyone else found theirs is less fussy than people say, or am I just lucky?
