I've had my peace lily for about eight months now and I'm still figuring out its mood swings

I've had my peace lily for about eight months now and I'm still figuring out its mood swings. Some weeks it bounces back from drooping within hours of watering, but other times it stays limp even when the soil is moist. I'm wondering if it's a humidity thing since I'm in a pretty dry mediterranean climate. Has anyone else struggled with getting the watering rhythm right, or is mine just being dramatic?
