I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for about four months now and I'm still not sure if I'm watering it right

I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for about four months now and I'm still not sure if I'm watering it right. It seems fine, but I worry I'm doing it too often even though I wait until the soil is completely dry. Does anyone else struggle with the watering schedule for snake plants? I keep it in bright indirect light and it hasn't grown much yet, but I'm trying to be patient. Any tips would help!
