I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for about three years now, and I only just realised I've been watering it way too often. The leaves started getting a bit soft at the base, which was my clue. Now I'm basically ignoring it—maybe a drink every three weeks in summer, nothing in winter—and it's thriving. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering these, or am I just particularly bad at restraint with my plants?
