I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for three years now and only recently realized I've been overwatering it. I kept thinking the slower growth meant it needed more attention, but it was actually thriving—I just couldn't see it. Once I switched to watering maybe once a month in winter and every 4-6 weeks in summer, the new leaves came in noticeably sturdier. Turns out this species really does want you to forget about it. Anyone else been surprised by how little these actually need?
