I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for three years now and only recently realized I was watering it far too often

I've had my Sansevieria trifasciata for three years now and only recently realized I was watering it far too often. Once I switched to a monthly schedule during the growing season, the growth accelerated noticeably. The leaves look so much more vibrant too. Has anyone else struggled with overwatering this species? It's funny how the most forgiving plants can still punish you for too much care.
