I've had my snake plant for a few months now and I'm honestly amazed how little it needs from me

I've had my snake plant for a few months now and I'm honestly amazed how little it needs from me. I almost killed my first houseplant by overwatering, so having something that actually prefers to dry out completely has been such a relief. Just watered it for maybe the third time since I got it and it looks happier than ever. Has anyone else found that snake plants are basically the perfect beginner plant, or am I just getting lucky?
