I've had my snake plant for about eight months now and I'm still not sure if I'm watering it right—I think I've been doing it too often? The leaves are still green and upright, but I noticed one spot that looks slightly softer than the others. Should I back off completely and just water when the soil is bone dry? I love how low-maintenance it's supposed to be, but I'm paranoid I'll kill it somehow.
