I've had my snake plant for about eight months now and I'm still amazed at how little it demands

I've had my snake plant for about eight months now and I'm still amazed at how little it demands. I think I water it maybe once a month, sometimes less, and it just keeps growing those gorgeous striped leaves. My only question is whether I should repot it soon—the roots are starting to peek out the bottom of the pot. I'm nervous about disturbing it since it seems so happy, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has repotted theirs without causing a fuss.
