I've had my snake plant for about two years now and it's honestly been my lowest-maintenance friend

I've had my snake plant for about two years now and it's honestly been my lowest-maintenance friend. I think I've watered it maybe five times total, which sounds extreme but it seems genuinely happy in the corner of my living room. The only thing I'm uncertain about is whether I should repot it soon—the soil is pretty compact and I'm worried I might be underwatering without realizing it. Has anyone else noticed their snake plant looking better after repotting, or am I overthinking this?
